Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Lexion ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Lex AI intake agent — a tool embedded into law firm websites that qualifies visitor inquiries and delivers leads in real time. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Service. If you have any questions, reach out at support@l3xion.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two broad categories of information:
From law firms (our subscribers): When you subscribe to Lexion, we collect basic business contact details such as your name, email address, law firm name, and billing information. This is used to manage your subscription and provide support.
From website visitors (end users of our clients' sites): Lex is embedded on our clients' websites. When a visitor interacts with Lex, information such as their name, contact details, and case description may be collected in real time as part of the intake process. This information is processed immediately and delivered to the subscribing law firm. Lexion does not retain this visitor data in a persistent database after delivery.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service, process subscription billing and account communications, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability and performance of Lex. We do not use visitor intake data for any purpose beyond delivering it to the respective law firm subscriber. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Real-Time Processing — No Persistent Storage
A core aspect of how Lex works is that visitor interactions are processed in real time. Lexion does not store conversation logs, intake transcripts, or visitor personal information in a persistent database after the lead has been delivered to the subscribing law firm. Once delivery is confirmed, that data is no longer retained by Lexion.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our marketing website (l3xion.com) may use standard analytics tools and cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. This may include page views, referral sources, and browser information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to help us operate the Service, including payment processors and infrastructure providers. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and are only given access to information necessary to perform their functions. We do not share subscriber or visitor data with third parties beyond what is required to operate the Service.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage our subscribers to implement appropriate security practices on their own websites and to inform their visitors about the presence of an AI intake agent.
8. Your Responsibilities as a Subscriber
If you are a law firm using Lex on your website, you are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction. This includes providing appropriate disclosures to your website visitors about the presence of an AI agent and how their information will be used or shared.
9. Data Retention
Subscriber account information (name, email, billing details) is retained for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Visitor intake data processed through Lex is not retained by Lexion beyond the point of delivery to the subscribing firm.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@l3xion.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the Service, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
